Welcome to Rise above it

 Rise above it. This is the phrase that gave me strength and fueled hope in me at the most challenging time in my life.

As time went by, i realized that "Rise above it" is more than just a phrase. It's a mantra we could live by.

We are not defined by what happens to us but rather we should make things happen.

The only limitations we have are the ones we set up for ourselves.

I decided to write this blog because I love writing about my passions, what interest me, what interests others, and sharing all of my thoughts with my readers.

I also figured it could inspire others and myself to engage in the adventure of self discovery and growth.

I'm a mom of three, a Doctoral Student, Grief Counseling student and an Educator.
